Unfortunately, there are no car parking facilities at Newton Mearns Parish Church. The area at the re …morear door of our premises, which is adjacent to the Church Office, is a restricted zone which is the property of The Avenue Shopping Centre. This zone is for Service and Emergency vehicles only.
Signage is clearly displayed, and road markings are in place. However, passengers may be dropped off and picked up from the rear entrance to the Church, but parking is strictly prohibited. Any parking within this zone is likely to cause problems in the event of emergency vehicles requiring access, and Parking Charge Notices will be issued. Receipt of a Parking Charge Notice results in a £70 fine. For the safety of all persons within this zone, and to allow Service and Emergency vehicles unrestricted access, drivers of vehicles that visit the Church should be made aware of this information.
